“Hallstatt is absolutely stunning! The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave enough information but not so much it was boring. Always willing to help and gave some good advice on what to do in Hallstatt. Must do is the skywalk. The funicular costs €22 but is well worth it. You can rent a small boat for €30 for 30 minutes. You then have enough time to walk through the town itself. Transport is a 3 hour coach ride. I'm 6'5 so did struggle for space. But if you are not a larger person, it will be fine. This trip is 100% recommended. It's the highlight of my trip to Austria!”

“8 hours of traveling in a bus. 4 hours non-stop. There should be at least one stop to stretch legs. The person who spoke to us on the bus needs some education on Austria so he can speak about the country and the region. It was disappointing to travel that long and learn nothing. The tour of Hallstatt was very short. The guide was good but 35 minutes was very short. Hallstatt itself was beautiful.”

Although we had only three hours, we did not feel rushed and she knew all the spots for great photos. She even helped us take photos ( she is a photographer) . The tour guide in Bratislava was awesome as well. They all speak excellent English and knew the history of each place well.
