We had a 45minute tour with a guide in Salzberg then the rest of the time exploring ourselves too… great place. “The tour has a very rigid schedule, but it worked well for me. I almost wish there was more time in Salzburg because it is such a large city, but Hallstatt was gorgeous as well. Easy way to see the three cities. Just be aware that it is pretty fast paced and you may not be able to have time to sit down and eat in a restaurant.”
